The monochromatic look doesn’t have to be boring! It’s fun to style an outfit based off of one color if you incorporate lots of shades and some pattern play.  Great accessories are a MUST and can really pull the outfit together.  Have fun with mixing prints, patterns, and shades of a single color.  Be as bold or as subtle as you want. I am so totally on board with the pattern mixing trend! From stripes to polka dots to plaids to gingham to animal prints, we simply think its hard to go wrong. If you aren’t super confident with it yet, we recommend starting with your accessories first. This is a fun way to add an unexpected pop of color or introduce a hint of cute pattern to any outfit.

January Rizzo (JanuaryHart.com) is one one the best when it comes to mixing prints and patterns.  Her bright pink gingham shirt pulls all these prints together perfectly! Her SBD Leopard Clutch with a pink monogram looks like it was made for this outfit!

We are loving plaid in a MAJOR way this season! This GAP boyfriend plaid shirt is perfect with leggings and boots. The weather wasn’t cooperating today, so it gave me a great excuse to wear my HUNTER BOOTS, you know, in case I needed to jump in any mud puddles or anything. Finally, our white and black MINI DOT monogrammed bangle was the obvious choice for accessories. We are crushing on it big time over here!
